Questions
How is the winning square picked?
When a round starts, it publishes a future slot number. Entries close a few slots before it. Once that slot is finalized, its blockhash is read as one big number, and that number modulo 25 is the winning square. Nobody knows the blockhash in advance, and anyone can recompute it on the verify page.
Who pays the prizes?
A dedicated pot wallet funded in ZEC. Each round puts 10 % of the pot on the line. Anything not paid out rolls into the next round as a jackpot. A single round never puts more than 25 % of the pot wallet at stake; the rest stays as a reserve. Players never pay anything.
Is there a cap on winnings?
Yes. One wallet can win at most 100 % of the value of its $ZTEST bag per round. Whatever the cap holds back rolls into the next round as a jackpot. Wins worth less than $1 aren't sent; they roll into the jackpot too.
What is the minimum holding?
$1 worth of $ZTEST. It's checked when you enter and again at the draw, so buying, entering and selling right away doesn't count.
Does it cost anything to play?
No. An entry is a signed message, not a transaction. You pay no gas and send no tokens.
Is it fair?
The draw slot is fixed before anyone enters, the result comes from public chain data, and every payout is an on-chain transaction you can open in the explorer. Don't trust it. Check it on the verify page.
